About us
Who we are
SoFlo KidsMin is the children's ministry of the Southern Florida District Church of the Nazarene.
A new name, the same calling
Children's ministry on the Southern Florida District now goes by SoFlo KidsMin. The new name joins us to the Church of the Nazarene's worldwide KidsMin movement, and our tagline keeps the focus where it belongs: discipleship with the next generation.
We exist to equip, train, and encourage the children's and family ministries of every church on our district. That means helping the leaders, volunteers, and parents who disciple kids week in and week out.
This is also the first time district children's ministry has had a home of its own online. Everything a family or church needs from us lives here now.
Alongside SFD NYI
SoFlo KidsMin serves children. Our sister ministry, SFD NYI, serves students in grades 6–12. Families with kids in both can find NYI at sfnyi.org.
Our leadership
A district Children's Ministry council guides SoFlo KidsMin. Meet the council and get in touch.
Our vision
Our purpose is to partner together to help every church in our district disciple children to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve Him for a lifetime.
As we do that, we are committed to providing safe ministry environments, equipping leaders with effective resources, and preparing the next generation of children's ministry leadership for our district.
Our mission
Our mission is to partner together to help every church in our district disciple children to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve Him for a lifetime.
We are committed to partnering with families and churches to raise children who know Jesus personally, follow Him faithfully, serve others compassionately, and grow into lifelong disciples and spiritual leaders. We provide safe environments, intentional discipleship, and practical resources that help children develop a Christ-centered faith that impacts their homes, churches, and communities.
